Media 6 IMG (IMG) is a well-established manufacturing company with over 20 years of experience specializing in custom cabinetry and millwork, located in south Mississauga. We manufacture store fixtures for clients throughout North America, working with wood, melamine, plastic laminates, acrylics and metal. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervises staff manufacturing products; organizes and monitors production flow.
  • Accomplishes training, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures.
  • Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the production process; observing product flow from department to department; monitoring personnel and resources; facilitating corrections and problem solving with the process; fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
  • Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow to plant manager.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by coordinating repairs with plant manager, evaluating new equipment and techniques
  • Provides manufacturing information by compiling and sorting production work orders within house ERP system.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing projects on a timely basis.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all equipment and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures and all Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Complete documentation and recording keeping
  • Create and update KPI’s.
  • Skills and Qualifications:

  • Supervision
  • 3-5 years metal fabrication experience is required.
  • Managing manufacturing processes
  • Process improvement
  • Tracking work orders
  • Production planning
  • Able to deal with complexity
  • Hands-on custom metal manufacturing skills, including brake press, shear, CNC Turret press, welding
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and other MS Office software
  • Clear English speaking and excellent interpersonal communication skills
